Our cottage is cozy and intimate. You can walk to the beach within three minutes. The cottage is fully equipped, but it is mainly the books that dominate and invite you to read, relax inside or enjoy the sun on our terrace. Get inspired and write your first book here, make your stay a bestseller. Even if you do not like to read or write, we will warmly welcome you, Egmond invites you to walk, cycle, shop and rest!

THINGS TO DO
Rent bicycles and discover our beautiful surroundings, from Alkmaar to Bergen, and the abbey in Egmond-Binnen.
Visit the Stedelijk Museum in Alkmaar, where many beautiful Egmond canvases hang or visit our own Egmond museum.
Grab your bike on Saturday and go to the market in Alkmaar, on Thursday morning we have our Egmond market and in the months of June, July and August there is the famous old-fashioned fair from 3 pm. Of course everything is subject to change due to Corona.
The riding school in Egmond aan den Hoef regularly organizes beach rides under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
Little Hemingway organizes workshops for two, later in the year it is possible to participate with more people. The workshop can be booked in combination with an overnight stay, but this is not necessary. The workshops are also organized on request.
Little Hemingway is extremely suitable for writing your book because of the environment. In peace, between the dunes, with the sea in the background.
